Halong Bay & Mekong Delta Cruises
Overnight cruises, private charters and river journeys — sourced from a vetted fleet and operated on the ground by your Vietnam DMC.
The booking is easy. Getting it right isn't.
A cruise is the one leg of a Vietnam itinerary where vessel quality, weather and cabin availability can make or break a trip. We contract the fleet, hold the allotments and manage the day of sailing — so quoting a cruise is as simple as quoting a hotel room.

The difference local knowledge makes
Not all Halong cruises are equal, and the Mekong is the destination where a bad operator shows most. This is what changes when the booking goes through us.
- A vessel cancels in peak season — and you find out from the client
- The bay closes for weather, with no plan B in place
- Delegates reach the floating market after it's already closing
- A "private" cruise turns out to be a shared boat
- Allotments held across multiple vetted operators, not one — a cancellation doesn't become your problem
- A contingency plan built into the itinerary before it sails, not improvised after
- Departure times set from local knowledge — Cai Rang before sunrise, not a generic day-tour slot
- Full-vessel private charters confirmed in writing, every time
Frequently asked questions
Do you offer day cruises or only overnight cruises in Halong Bay?
Both. A day cruise suits a tight schedule, but the overnight cruise is the signature experience — sunset over the karsts, dinner on board, kayaking and a quiet dawn away from the day-trip crowds. It's our most-requested format for agents.
Can you charter a full vessel for a MICE or incentive group?
Yes. We arrange private full-vessel charters for incentive groups, gala dinners and team-building on the water, holding cabin allotments and coordinating catering, entertainment and transfers as part of a wider MICE programme.
Is a Mekong Delta cruise a day trip or an overnight?
Both are bookable. A day trip from Ho Chi Minh City covers My Tho or Ben Tre, but one to two nights in Can Tho on a colonial-style river cruiser is what makes the trip — it's the only way to reach the Cai Rang floating market before sunrise, while it's still trading.
Can cruises be booked as part of a larger itinerary?
Yes. Most agents fold a Halong Bay or Mekong Delta cruise into a wider Vietnam programme rather than booking it alone — we cost it either way, as a stand-alone booking or as one leg of a multi-city itinerary.
What does Fiesta Asia handle on a cruise booking?
Vessel selection from a vetted fleet, held cabin allotments through peak season, private transfers to the pier or jetty, and weather or schedule contingencies — so a booking is never a gamble on availability or a vessel we haven't inspected.
Do you arrange river cruises beyond the Mekong Delta?
Yes. Further upriver in Laos, our itineraries include the classic Mekong slow boat from Huay Xai to Luang Prabang, which we can build into a cross-border Vietnam-Laos programme on a single contract.
